Visit to The National Museum of Contemporary History

<< Anne, Bill, Teri and Eric’s visit to Ljubljana (contd)

Tuesday September 25th 2017

Our contact at the museum was Marko Ličina and as with Jure he could not have been more helpful. We were given access to material not on public display and he gave us as much time as we needed to study and digest it.

Once again it was a difficult time looking at the images of the crash and the pictures of the coffins draped in Union Jacks in the Sports Hall.

I found it very upsetting and it took me back to a photo I took of Michael and his sisters many years before.
